Hi Friends,
Nice work on My Grandfather's Clock and Capital Blues from Book 2.
Book 3 starts right away talking about minor chords: how to form them and how to find a relative minor of a major key or chord.
Please practice your Em and Gm chords (pg 4)
Also practice C'etait Anne de Bretagne in 2 keys: Em and Gm. When working on these chords remember to learn the shapes, place fingers all at once and aiming for the chords with the hardest finger to place. (ie: with Em, aim for the chord with your ring finger)
Practice both the chords and the notes. Remember your sharps and flats!
Also work on Shenendoah (pg 8), both parts. play the major and minor chords in the key of C. Remember that large Roman numerals are MAJOR and small Roman numerals are MINOR.
For the arpeggiated chords in the Uke II part, your can use the chord shapes for fingering the notes.
