It's always so fun to be away from a routine (and winter) for a while but it is equally nice to get back home and my routine. So welcome back everyone. I think we will have some fun this session.
Would you believe the the rest of the books came about an hour after I left for class. Who know that FedEx delivered that late. If any of you are chomping at the bit to get your hands on your own book, please let me know and I can get it to you. Otherwise…. they will be there next Wed.
For Next week:
∆∆∆ practice exercises on pages 2-3. Chords with the C scale.
∆∆∆ Also the Crawdad Song (pg 4) Strum and sing and then practice picking. This song is on your CD. Try changing keys using the I, IV, V system on page 5. You should be able to strum the Crawdad Song in C, G, F, and perhaps A.
∆∆∆ Practice the notes for Era Una Vez, Uke I and Uke II (slow version below). Don't worry too much about the rhythm and dynamics. We will work on that in class.
