Make sure that you are practicing minor chords: Am, Dm, Em, Gm, Cm. Use the exercises in the book to practice making these chord changes, especially Gm, Em adn Cm.
For next week practice The Ryans and the Pittmans: chords (using roman numerals) Uke I and ESPECIALLY Uke II.
Next week we will start working on Hornpipe. We will begin with measures 22-27, which is the part that is play up the neck. Shift up at 22 and back down at 27. To prepare for playing this, practice the F scale pattern up the neck that I handed out in class. Say the note names as you practice. The use your cheat sheet to start working on those measures (22-27).
You can find slow version of Hornpipe and other tunes on the Resources page. The book 3 resources aren't organized into lesson so just scroll down to find what you are looking for.
Questions???? ask me. Need extra help??? ask me.
