It was fun to warm up with a bit of Dylan. Enjoy playing the other songs on your own at home. If you go to the Ukestra blog you can find some other tips for playing these songs, including finger picking.
Very impressive job by all on Hornpipe. It really is quite beautiful from my perspective. We will move on now but I find that this is a good piece to go back ot later on.
I suggest that you continue to practice (briefly and now and then) the chord progression in Round Her Neck She Wears a Yellow Ribbon. It is a good drill and, little by little, it will begin to sound better.
Next week, we'll play Slavonic Dance. I am attaching the harmony part for that below so you can try it out, if you want to.
Use the exercises on page 20 and Slavonic Dance to practice play chords in the Key of Am. Remember to listen to your recording and work on getting a good string back beat. I have put a slow version of Slavonic Dance below.
